ETSA (Electronics & Telecommunication Student Association) is the student body of the E&TC department of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering.
Through ETSA, every year technical and non-technical events are conducted for the students of E&TC department. There are a variety of competitions and guest lectures which are also conducted by us for the overall develpment of the students and to make sure that each and every person, after passing out, is ready to face the industrial environment arounf him/her.
Below are the list of competitions and events which were organised by ETSA for almost 5 years at a stretch:
1) Programming Competition----------(Data Structures) (Second year)
2) Circuit Design Competition---------(Integrated Ckts) (Second year)
3) Poster Making Competition-------- (Technical) (All the years)
4) Mini-project Competition-----------(Technical) (Third year)
5) Project Competition---------------- (Technical) (Final year)
6) Quiz Competition-------------------(General) (All years)
7) Engineers Day Celebration----------(Event)
8) Teacher's Day Celebration----------(Event)
9) Industrial Tour's---------------------(Technical) (Second & Third year)
10) BE Farewell-------------------------(Non-technical) (Final year)
Apart from all these competitions and events, guest lectures are conducted at regular intervals for the improvisation of industrial knowledge and developing a technical know-how!!
However, in the academic year 2013-14, we are planing to change the traditional competitions and events to some extent, with a view of including some more non-technical areas of expertise for each and everyone. So we would welcome any type of (healthy) suggestions towards the same.
